Hotel-centric startup founded in Lima announces new project launch

Traveling can often be more stressful than it should be as tourists feel they have to find the best places around where they’re staying.

That’s where Lima’s own Arrivedo comes in. The startup that was founded by Peruvian Alonso Franco just announced the launch of a new white label solution that hotel groups can then use to customize guests’ experiences.

As an online platform, Arrivedo promotes itself as the first such app to combine the ability for people to search for hotels with a customized list of things to go and see around the direct vicinity of a hotel.

“When travelers visit new places, their immediate surroundings can make or break a trip, yet this has been fairly overlooked by previous hotel booking sites,” said Alonso Franco, co-founder and CEO of Arrivedo, last year. “Now with Neighbourhood Guides, customers can ensure their surrounding are filled with exciting activities, thanks to the combined effort of experienced writers and knowledgeable locals.”

After launching a search feature at the turn of the year that allows users to find detailed neighborhood guides alongside each hotel option, Arrivedo has become an important player in the scene of hotel startups like Airbnb and TripAdvisor.

With hundreds of travel writers already in its arsenal, the Peru-based company is looking to provide even more expert reports for travelers all over the globe.
